The West Island of Montreal has many great restaurants serving pizza. The best pizzas are a perfect marriage of sublime ingredients. A fresh crust, baked to perfection, is topped with delectable sauce and a blanket of perfectly melted cheese. Carefully chosen toppings complete the symphony of flavors. My favourites, and the pizzas by which I judge a pizzeria, are the margherita and capricciosa.
Based on a survey we conducted (261 responses), Pane Pazzo in Dollard Des Ormeaux came out on top, serving the best Pizza in the West Island!

McBay’s on Sources Blvd (Centennial Mall). YUMMY!!
All dressed or McBay special!
All is great there!

I like a pizza that I can pronounce, maybe ‘old fashioned’ and certainly not a lover of specialty pizzas. My favourite is just a simple all dressed pizza from Metro Pizza on St Charles at Pierrefonds! Thick crust, fresh toppings and lots of cheese! As well as a really fast delivery.

My two favorite: Pane Pazzo and Mozza. Neither have disappointed me yet!!

Tasters, have you tried the pizza at Le Vieux Four Manago on St Charles Blvd. in Kirkland?
And at Towne Hall?
Just a thought!
The taipan
West Island Restaurants , 12-5-2011

Le Vieux Four was on our preliminary list, but didn’t make the cut since most people seemed unsatisfied with the food since they changed owners. Again, this post does not reflect our opinions of who serves the best pizza, it is the opinion of the people who responded to the survey.

Le Vieux Four, this is the best place for pizza!!!!
mavethewave , 12-5-2011

Nikkos should definitely be on the list!
West Island Restaurants , 12-5-2011

This survery was only for traditional sit-down restaurants. We will be running a survey soon for delivery/takeout pizza places shortly.
Karen , 12-8-2011

I agree with that Nikkos is one of the best for take out!
Steve , 12-5-2011

The best pizza on the West Island is hands down, no holds barred, slam dunk for certain Cal Zone on St. Charles in Kirkland.

My vote would be for Gigi’s in Pte Claire village
Claire , 12-5-2011

La meilleure des meilleures pour la pizza c’est Gigi’s!!!!!!!!!!
Karen , 12-8-2011

I have to put a vote in for Gigi’s as well. (Nikkos and Gigi’s are my top two) I have many friends that have moved out of Montreal and they always have a Gigi pizza when they return home for a visit. That says something for Gigi’s!!
Marc Meloche , 12-5-2011

I think your list definitely missed one: Piazza Romana in Pointe-Claire.
West Island Restaurants , 12-5-2011

Thank you Marc for your response. Piazza Romana was included in our preliminary survey, but did not receive enough votes to make the final cut…
