The city of Pierrefonds has merged with Roxborough to create a very large city on the western part of the Montreal Island. Because of the number of people who call this place home, there are lots of opportunities for both commerce and for residential seclusion. It has more than 65,000 residents and features some of the most beautiful nature parks in all of Canada. That is one of the draws of this area for residents, along with its excellent transportation system. Pierrefonds is home to a train hub that serves the surrounding areas.
