When we talk about some of the biggest individual places on the island of Montreal, Pointe-Claire has to be at the top of the list. This city had more than 30,000 people at last census, and it features some of the most modern trappings of any of Montreal’s cities. Like many of the cities on Montreal Island, this one is quite old and that allows for some great looking older restaurants in the city’s center.

This city features a highly divided English speaking and French speaking population and they make up what’s something of a commuter force.
