Restaurants in Vaudreuil & Dorion

Located just off of the Montreal Island is a place that acts as one of the fast growing suburbs of Montreal. Vaudreuil is the place and there is a lot going on there right now. For the longest time, this has been one of the most rural areas in all of Montreal. It’s been a place where lots of farms have always dominated the landscape and people have been mostly self-sufficient there. Things are changing these days, though. As mentioned earlier, it is a fast growing area that’s expanding in residential terms. That is because the old farms and rural areas are being changed over into developments and residential living. People are getting more efficient with how they handle their land, so the areas are being pushed for profit. This means that more and more people are moving to these country sides. With all of the people moving in, one of the consequences has been a growth in the number of restaurants. Lot of new offerings – both chains and local spots – have popped up to service this growing population.
