Aikawa

Details

  • Aikawa Sushi
Located on Montreal’s West Island, Aikawa serves up unique and delicious sushi creations daily. Besides the sushi bar, visitors can order from a fully-stocked bar or the reasonably priced wine menu.

The wonderful creations have equally intriguing names. Heaven, one of the restaurant’s specialties, combines tuna and salmon with lightly fried rice and a mint leaf. The roll is then served with a special teriyaki sesame sauce that creates a mouthwatering combination of flavors.

For an elegant evening of Japanese cuisine on the West Island, Aikawa cannot be beat.

  • If you enjoy sushi, this is the place to go in the West Island. The pieces are all very colorful and tasty, the chefs use may different flavors to create the rolls. The presentation of the meals is always very elegant and exotic looking. The service is by far one of the best I have receive. Our waiter was very courteous and explained each meal with details.

Once you try it your perspective on sushi will be vastly different. Superior rolls and fabulous fusion rolls. Their lunch specials are nice too. Not the place to cut back on a few bucks mind you, but their rolls aren’t full of rice either. Nice atmosphere and their martini’s are very good, not to mention potent!
A great option is getting a discount coupon on WestIslandRestaurants, I have purchased a few before from another site and this makes it all the more worthwhile.

If you love sushi, you’ll definetly love this spot! This is in the same family as Sho-Dan (downtown) so you are getting the same high caliber of both food and service. I love this spot for business lunches where I want to impress or to celebrate special occasions. The quality of sushi and plate presentation are equally impressive! I cannot say enough about this spot! Try it and dare to very impressed!
