We went there last night with terrible aftermath!!! The risotto was boring and was more like rice with tomatoes thrown in. The tomato/cheese/avocado salad was alright, but completely drowned in basil oil. It was tough to get the waiter’s attention for anything but for some reason random waiters kept giving us more bread O_o To top off the evening, my boyfriend and I were doubled over in pain within an hour after dinner and were very sick!!! Still nauseous the next day… Save your money!

One of our favorite restaurants. The food is always great and the service pleasant and efficient.

I’ve been to Del Frisco’s in DDO twice now, and have enjoyed it both times. I must say, this is an Italian Restaurant – and when in Rome, you don’t order Chinese food. The pizza was amazing, the salad was crunchy and tasty, the pasta was delicious, the calamari was great – Three of us had lunch and it did not cost $50 and I even had a glass of wine! I say go and enjoy!!

Last weekend a friend and I made reservations for 7 pm. The waiter we had didn’t introduce himself he was not friendly he even gave our bills before even asking! I spoke to the manager and told him we felt the waiter wanted us to pay and be gone asap manger went to see the waiter shortly after the waiter comes by our table and says” I’m not rushing the both of you I just have a lot of tables to tend to”. Food wasn’t exhilarating and the waiter was very rude!!

Pass this one by quickly. High priced, bad bordering on terrible food! The restaurant decor is inviting since this was formerly the Pub St. James, but unfortunately, the restaurants have little in common other than the atmosphere. While Pub St. James had delectable food, the entrees here were tough, rubbery, and tasteless. The grilled chicken was served in a bath of canned tomato and mushroom sauce and tasted like the chef tried to sweeten it up with sugar. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from a bad mix and the bok choi and onions were swimming in a pool of oil. Yuck! My husband’s pasta dish was just as bad and very oily. Our $50.00 would have been better spent on fast food and a movie. Portions were large, but the food was practically inedible. The service was good, but keep your money in your pocket when you pass by Del Friscos – one meal here was far too many.

Yesterday evening I dined at Del Frisco’s in Dollard and it was quite good. My expectations were low at first since yucky East Side Mario’s used to be there a few years ago. The food and service was good and will definitely go back again.
