Just tried for the first time, thanks to your deal…it was fantastic!! The food was delicious, delicately served without the added layer of rice that usually makes the rolls so filling. We tried different chef’s specialties…all to be recommended…my favorite was the “patate zento” yum! The service was impeccable and all in all a very positive dining experience. We’ll certainly be back! Thanks for the opportunity to try your restaurant.
Very good sushi at a high price. However, hated the service and some “surprise costs” that appeared on my bill; the manager is a fool. My review – food good, service without a smile. I’ll spend my hard earned dollars at Maiko (actual best sushi in the west island.)
Thanks!
Love, love, LOVE this place! If you’re a sushi lover like me and a vegetarian, you HAVE TO try this place. They have 3 maki options, as well as one speciality that are all vegetarian. My favourite food in the world is sushi and I’ve been eating for 15 years now and the quality of Zento is superior to most places I’ve visited. The rice is so fresh it still has a tint of warmth, the tofu had the most delicious marinade, the veggies are perfectly done… And the service is awesome. I’ve dinned there twice; the first waitress was alright (no complaints), but the second one (happened to be a French-Canadian male) was genius, had excellent suggestions and knew the ingredients on the menu by heart (which is key for vegetarians like me). He really made it feel as though I was properly looked after. Only downside is that this place isn’t BYOB and can get very expensive.
