Year round, this a pleasant & reliable place tor lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch.
In summer lunch with a cooling brew under a sunbrella on the terrace. In winter cosy up to a fireplace while the white stuff falls from the sky. Anytime the Pub is welcoming. (Pauline particularly likes table #9 in front of the wall fire.)
Mon Village is a gem in Hudson’s countryside. It’s been open for decades but the owners reinvent, tweak the menu & keep things fresh.
The Pub is a great place for casual finger food, or steaks & pillowy garlic bread. Quite a selection of beers too. Rub shoulders with the horsey set. Or celebrate in the slightly more formal ambiance of the main dining room. The same menu is available throughout the resto – French onion soup, black angus prime rib or steaks, fish & chips, meal salads – just decide what ambiance you’re in the mood for.
Every month a new Table d’hôte is offered: choose from 2 appetizers, 4 mains, & have sinful dessert & coffee for under $40! (Mains often include roast beef with Yorkshire pudding & all the trimmings, or a fish/seafood, etc.)
A great brunch is served Sundays: two sittings at $23.95 for Adults $9.95 for Children under 10. There are samplings of much of the menu, generously dished up, with steam trays refreshed often.
