Excellent food, plenty of choices, great service + affordable price. Indoor or outdoor terrace. What’s not to like?

Amazing restaurant! Everything is good, and during canadien’s hockey game, the pizza is half price.
    The service is incredible.

Unbelievable…. So I ordered a plate of Alfredo pasta with 4 shrimp over the phone and when I went to go pay and get my food one of the waitris had her fingers in my food! Tossing and turning in my food! I was completely shook and was wondering why on earth was her finger in my food. The worst part of it is that she closed back the container which my food was in and brought it to me as if nothing happen! So I bluntly ask her why was her fingers in my food I think she was shock that I saw her because she turned around and said she was going to bring it to the chef… I was so furious that I left without the food it was a complete turn off and never will I put my feet again at this restaurant!

I am in sales and eat 3 times a week in restaurnts. Was there last sat. Food was good – prices fair – service very disappointed can’t figure if waiter was not attentive or just very busy and over worked. Struggle to get 2nd drink. Got coffee but desert order was taken after coffee was served. Then when bill was handed to me ,waiter did not pay attention and turned away forcing me to reach to get the bill. He later did the same for the cc machine. Caused me to reduce my tip. Will be a while before I go back.

We went there last night with terrible aftermath!!! The risotto was boring and was more like rice with tomatoes thrown in. The tomato/cheese/avocado salad was alright, but completely drowned in basil oil. It was tough to get the waiter’s attention for anything but for some reason random waiters kept giving us more bread O_o To top off the evening, my boyfriend and I were doubled over in pain within an hour after dinner and were very sick!!! Still nauseous the next day… Save your money!

      Sorry to hear that Courtney.
We have always enjoyed the food for a Italian/American type cuisine.
Quality is good for the price.
I must admit, the service has always been slow….but courteous.

I’ve been to Del Frisco’s in DDO twice now, and have enjoyed it both times. I must say, this is an Italian Restaurant – and when in Rome, you don’t order Chinese food. The pizza was amazing, the salad was crunchy and tasty, the pasta was delicious, the calamari was great – Three of us had lunch and it did not cost $50 and I even had a glass of wine! I say go and enjoy!!

Last weekend a friend and I made reservations for 7 pm. The waiter we had didn’t introduce himself he was not friendly he even gave our bills before even asking! I spoke to the manager and told him we felt the waiter wanted us to pay and be gone asap manger went to see the waiter shortly after the waiter comes by our table and says” I’m not rushing the both of you I just have a lot of tables to tend to”. Food wasn’t exhilarating and the waiter was very rude!!

      Lidia,
I agree… the waiters seem like they are always rushing… That’s a problem since the opening.

Pass this one by quickly. High priced, bad bordering on terrible food! The restaurant decor is inviting since this was formerly the Pub St. James, but unfortunately, the restaurants have little in common other than the atmosphere. While Pub St. James had delectable food, the entrees here were tough, rubbery, and tasteless. The grilled chicken was served in a bath of canned tomato and mushroom sauce and tasted like the chef tried to sweeten it up with sugar. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from a bad mix and the bok choi and onions were swimming in a pool of oil. Yuck! My husband’s pasta dish was just as bad and very oily. Our $50.00 would have been better spent on fast food and a movie. Portions were large, but the food was practically inedible. The service was good, but keep your money in your pocket when you pass by Del Friscos – one meal here was far too many.

Yesterday evening I dined at Del Frisco’s in Dollard and it was quite good. My expectations were low at first since yucky East Side Mario’s used to be there a few years ago. The food and service was good and will definitely go back again.
